BAC (Bank of America): Sell

1= Strong Buy 5=Strong Sell

Summary:

This year so far can be summarized by a collapse of the financial sector, BAC included.  This stock has fallen over 70% this year and is at its 52 week low trading at just 11-12.  This year the stock hit it’s lowest levels since early 2001.  We recommend staying away from this and all financial stocks at the moment as the instability in the sector is overwhelming.  Although the dividend is appealing as well as the PEG, there is too much volatility for us to risk our money on.  And despite its recent rise, during these economic times these types of stocks cannot be trusted.  However, look for an upgrade should the economic turmoil calm.  For the moment, however, we recommend this stock a sell.
